After 11 years in the U.S. Air Force, I began my financial planning career in 1993 at American Express. In early 1998 I was part of a group that started a new regional firm in Michigan. In 2004 that firm asked me to join their tax-planning division to coordinate the efforts of advisors and accountants who were working with high end clients.
I live with my wife (Ann) in Grand Traverse County in the northwestern part of Michigan's lower peninsula.
