"New" Reverse Mortgage Webinar presented by Reverse Mortgage Funding

When:  Oct 25, 2016 from 04:15 PM to 05:15 PM (ET)

Why’s there all this buzz about reverse mortgage?

Click here to register for an educational webinar on the “New” reverse mortgage with Tom Dickson, National Sales Leader at Reverse Mortgage Funding. Tom has collaborated with Harold Evensky and John Salter on the research that led to the Standby Reverse Mortgage strategy.

Tom will share the latest developments with today’s FHA-insured reverse mortgages aka “HECMs”), including the $125 cost now available to put a reverse mortgage in place.

Tom will also use the MoneyGuidePro planning program to share four common uses of HECMs that may help senior clients: (1) pay LESS taxes by reducing IRA withdrawals, (2) establish a standby credit line for clients who are self-insuring for LTC risk (3) eliminate mortgage payments, if they have 50% in home equity (4) and possibly free up cash by reducing the money necessary when purchasing a home.

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
1. Provide valuable advice to older clients on how a reverse mortgage may help reduce their taxes by reducing IRA withdrawals.
2. Educate older clients on the pros and cons of reverse mortgages, including significant reductions to initial costs.
3. Evaluate how a reverse mortgage can effectuate strategies such as eliminating mortgage payments.
4. Present new planning ideas to older clients that are downsizing; e.g. how a reverse mortgage may reduce their cash outlay when purchasing that new home.

Can't Miss Takeaway:
Today's low-cost reverse mortgage can convert a client's home equity into tax-free cash that can make the difference between a secure retirement and one fraught with uncertainty.

Who Should Attend?
Financial planners with older clients who can use more income, pay too much in taxes, are making mortgage payments, or have no long term care protection.
