Join us as ACA members share their financial planning career transition stories during periodic conference calls. You'll leave this call understanding why financial planners select the ACA community and the ACA System™ to help them build their ideal financial planning practices and how ACA can help you save time, money, and headaches.  

This month's panelists are Linda Stratton and Charles "Chip" Simon.

Linda became interested in becoming a personal financial planner while teaching finance at Northern Arizona University. After a ten year detour into the nonprofit world Linda decided to change careers and become a financial planner. Linda started Stratton Advisors in 2005 and built a practice focused on helping people achieve financial independence through a proactive, comprehensive planning program. She embraced the ACA Planners approach of integrated tax and financing planning.She enjoys the opportunity to build a quality relationship with each client. 

Chip holds a graduate degree in Accounting from New York University and received his B.A. from Colgate University in 1974. He is a member of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and chairs the Education Committee of the Chamber Foundation. He is an active member of the Hudson Valley Collaborative Divorce and Dispute Resolution Association and sits on the Consistory Board of his parish. Chip was recognized by the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley for promoting charitable strategies to clients. He has presented many seminars locally about various areas of financial planning. Chip is married to Karen Hansen, a retired CPA, and living proof of Chip's skill in retirement planning.
