Meredith is a partner and CFP® with Taconic Advisors, Inc. in Poughkeepsie, NY. A graduate of Duke University, she began her financial services career in 2005 as a product salesperson for a large annuity and insurance company but quickly realized that fee-only holistic financial advice was her passion.
In 2009 she became a CFP® and began working for a fee-only wealth management company in Richmond, VA. Soon thereafter, Meredith and her husband became proud parents of twins and decided to relocate to the Hudson Valley of New York to be closer to family. Upon relocating, Meredith worked for TIAA-CREF as one of their top ranked wealth management advisors, servicing high-net-worth, non-profit employees and executives. In 2015 she finally found her "dream job" joining forces with veteran ACP member, Chip Simon, and shortly thereafter becoming a partner in the practice.
Outside of work, Meredith enjoys playing piano and singing with a local band. She also loves spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, jogging, and hiking.
