ACP Member Ross Schmidt, owner of Aspen Wealth Planners, will provide a detailed description of the methodology behind ACP’s series of client meetings – from preparing for your first face-to-face client meeting (the Preliminary Appointment), to quoting your fee and signing the client (the Presentation Appointment), to helping clients articulate what truly brings them the most satisfaction in life (Goals Visualization Appointment). You will learn how successful ACP advisors work with clients in all aspects of their financial lives – investing, tax planning, retirement planning, budgeting, college funding, insurance, and more.

Learning Objectives:

You will learn how to use the ACP Holistic Process to do the following:

  • Understand the client’s financial needs and educate them on how your services can better their lives.
  • Answer the client’s questions about tax issues and estimate and identify strategies to reduce their tax liability.
  • Recommend a portfolio that is based on the client’s tax bracket, risk tolerance, and goals.
  • Provide a comprehensive, objective review of the client’s risk exposures and insurance coverages.
  • Help the client think through the important decisions they need to make to protect their family and assets and recognize their goals.
