Kristen Moosmiller is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and the founder of NorthAvenue Financial Advocates. She is a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH where she majored in finance and marketing and served on the Student Investor's Fund. After graduation, she devoted the next few years to earning her CFP® designation and becoming a financial planner. She then worked as a Senior Financial Planner and as a Managing partner for some of Ohio's most reputable firms. Now more than a decade in, Kristen has advised hundreds of individuals and families to develop comprehensive, tailor-made financial plans.
As a member of NAPFA, FPA, and ACP, Kristen has established an active leadership role in the financial planning community. She twice served as president of her regional FPA chapter, is a founder of a nationally recognized Gen–Y Advisor Peer Group, and served on the NAPFA National Committee for CFP® Practice Standards that worked to shape nation-wide fiduciary standards for CFP®s.
In 2016 Kristen was selected from over 800 entrants to receive the prestigious Top 40 Advisors under 40 award from InvestmentNews.
Beyond her career, Kristen has a passionate drive to give back; she is focused on making meaningful change in her community. Amongst her recent charitable efforts, Kristen led the local Service to Youth Committee and has volunteered and mentored at career centers.
Kristen, her husband, Jeff and their cats Bella and Mac live in Westerville, OH. They share time together enjoying the outdoors and with more than 30 countries visited they are avid travelers.
